WHERE WE ARE / CAR PARKING

The Royalty Theatre is situated in the heart of Sunderland, just off Chester Road opposite the Royalty pub.

The nearest Metro station is University, just a three-minute walk from the theatre. Car parking is limited and mainly restricted to designated bays on Chester Road itself.

Parking is not allowed outside the main entrance; double-yellow lines are in place and vehicles left there may attract fines from attendants who monitor the area on a regular basis. However, during production weeks you may want to use the spaces kindly made available by the University Technology Park, next to the Metro station.

Exit tokens cost just 50p and can be obtained from box office staff inside the theatre. For general enquiries phone the theatre during the evening on (0191) 567 2669; for ticket details or any other matter, phone the box office number (0191 565 7945) Mon-Sat, 9am - 5pm.
