Hiring the Royalty Theatre

The main theatre and studio are available for hire during certain times of the year, subject to our own production commitments.

Main stage hire fee is from £450 per performance.

Studio theatre from £100 per performance.

The hirer retains proceeds from any ticket sales and is responsible for obtaining full insurance cover for the event. Publicity is also the responsibility of the hirer. Booking will only be confirmed once the necessary contract is signed and the hire fee paid.

Grants from award bodies

Over the last 18 months the Royalty has been awarded a number of grants from various bodies, which have gone towards essential repairs and improvements to the theatre. The work carried out so far and planned for the immediate future includes new heating and lighting, a new fire alarm system, a dampproofing course, refurbishment of the foyer and bar areas, a new sound mixer and new onstage amplification.
