PLEASE NOTE: While extra seats are usually available on the door for Monday performances (when a number of seats are often reserved for charities), extra seats for the Monday 24th June performance of Calendar Girls are very limited.  We would advise booking in advance for another night if you wish to be fully sure of obtaining seats.

THE NEXT PLAY READING - To be announced.  The play schedule for next season is in the process of being finalised, and reading dates will be published as soon as can be arranged.  Our plans include numerous opportunities for people of all ages and genders, so please watch this space for further information.

All are welcome at our play readings, regardless of experience.  No preparation is required.  You are welcome to come along even if you're not interested in a part, for instance if you wish to be involved behind the scenes, or if you simply want to hone your reading/audition skills.

A live theatre production is one of the most pleasurable and memorable experiences available, giving a sense of vibrancy and quality that you won't get from TV or the cinema. Here at the Royalty you can enjoy an evening of excellent live entertainment in a friendly, intimate atmosphere. In fact, it's more than just a show; it's a great night out.

Our theatre boasts comfortable seating as well as a fully stocked bar. For those not travelling by car we are situated close to the city centre and only a few minutes' walk from the University Metro Station.
