It’s Not The Character’s Problem

Jordan Carling brings his new play to the Royalty Theatre next Tuesday.  Jordan, who has been seen on the Royalty stage in My Boy Jack, A Christmas Carol, 1984 and very soon Oliver Twist, has chosen to bring his show to the Royalty amid performances at such venues at Northern Stage and The Customs House – for one night only.  Tickets just £5 from Ticketsource.

“Are you okay? Sorry. Silly question. Of course you’re okay. You’re the man!”

‘It’s Not The Character’s Problem.’ is a moving piece of autobiographical storytelling that challenges preconceived notions of masculinity by exploring the universal themes of death and grief.

No gimmicks. Just a table, a chair, a mic and a story. It’s not an easy one to tell and it might not be an easy one to hear, but the invitation is open and Jordan wants to talk.

So, come and join the conversation.

Someone has to talk about it.

For Kelvin.
