In a part of the East End of London, women are stalked and slain by a murderer who seems to be beyond capture. As each murder is brutally committed, the area is gripped by fear, suspicion and paranoia.
One young woman, her world closing in around her, is caught up the whirling maelstrom of terror that affects her, and everyone she knows.
The year is 1888.
The place is Whitechapel.
Her name is Mary Kelly.
