Just a well done to the cast (and band!) of Brassed Off. There were some really strong performances, the music was great, the comedy was genuinely funny, and the entire cast almost word perfect (which is more than can be said for most opening nights of plays I've seen in the West End). I have to confess to finding the script itself not as good as the original screenplay, but I think that just highlighted, once again, the quality of the performances on stage.

The comments from the audience as I came out were unanimously positive - everyone I heard talking loved it - so well done all involved!
