Well-deserved praise to the cast of Cooking With Elvis. Superb performances all round and all the more impressive for it being a first night. I think extra tribute needs to be paid to the cast for coping with an audience that often drowned out the words of the play, especially Corinne who must have thought she was at a football match thirty seconds into the second act. I don't think I've ever seen (or, rather, heard) an audience enjoy a play so much at the Royalty. Personally, I confess to finding Mr Hall's script a bit weak, so it's another tribute to the acting and direction (and singing!) when I say I'd still happily recommend people to see it because of the strength of the performance.
Well done all! Ten points to Gryffindor!
By the way, is it just a coincidence that you have an actor called Lee Stewart appearing in a play by someone called Lee, playing someone called Stuart?
