We have a packed programme lined up for you next season – as well as our main stage plays, we have some studio offerings, some touring performances and even some new writing – hopefully, something for everyone. full information and ticketing details will be provided in due course, but here’s an early look at what we’ve got planned:

Dec 07 to Dec 17 – Dick Whittington by Helen Bowie
Jan 24 to Jan 27 – Five Kinds of Silence by Shelagh Stephenson (Studio production)
Feb 19 to Feb 24 – Rabbit Hole by David Lindsey-Abair
Mar 19 to Mar 24 – Jeeves and Wooster in ‘Perfect Nonsense’ by the Goodall Brothers
April 25 to April 28 – Temple by Steve Waters (Studio production)
May 21 to May 26 – Move Over Mrs. Markham by Ray Cooney and John Chapman
June 25 to June 30 – The Wind in the Willows by Mike Kenney
If that’s not enough, we also have the wonderful classical chart-topping Joanna Forest performing a one-off concert on October 3rd (tickets are already available here). On October 4th we have Open Clasp Theatre’s excellent touring production Rattle Snake (see the Sunderland Stages website for tickets), and in July next year we once again present some new writing from one of our own members, Lee Stewart’s There’s Someone Coming Through.
Remember that memberships for the season are available – these allows you a ticket to the seven main-stage plays in the above list, with the convenience of being able to book without paying a booking fee. To get a form, simply pick one up on your next visit to the theatre, or contact us and ask for one.
